He wants a cheeseburger, with no mayo, and fries. He hates mayo. To my surprise, he eats most of the food. It’s the most I’ve seen him eat in a while, and somehow it feels like a rare achievement. A last meal he really could enjoy. In the morning, I go and get him a ham and cheese croissant from Burger King. He can’t eat anything after a certain time, or it could affect the drugs and slow things down.

Based on the consistency of Judge Eret’s practices, it is likely that all or the vast majority of people convicted by Judge Eret were convicted and sentenced in violation of the Colorado and United States Constitutions.

One emotionally uplifting thing for people has been when the dispatch crew hears from the drivers that a load has successfully reached its location in western North Carolina (WNC) and announces this to the warehouse crew. There is always a cheer from the crowd.

Oscar Wilde…. famous as a playwright and a witty gay man, but he wrote one of the better and most widely-read anarchist socialist tracts of the 19th century, one that gets into everything we’re talking about now… it’s called The Soul of Man Under Socialism and in it he argues that the point of art isn’t to make socialism, the point of socialism is to enable us to make art. He also like, bailed anarchists out of jail. The Modern Library wrote a list of the 100 best novels of the 20th century. Three of the top 5 were written by anarchists

Mutual Aid post-Helene Update #7
For those heading to the mountains, we encourage you to travel in pairs and stay alert. Robberies have been reported. I heard one unconfirmed report of a highway stop by law enforcement targeting supply vehicles. And, to top it off, there have been more than one report of white-supremacist groups sighted in the area, being visible, in some cases bring in aid as well. Bless their hearts.
